2019 Commonwealth Games

A friend of the club, Creighton Perry won first place in the latest spec wing competition in New Jersey which got me thinking. We should have more locals get involved in the sport! The Spec Wing Boot Camp is your way to break into this amazing and fast paced sport. The Commonwealth Games will have competitive wing races this year in August and our boot camp will be just in time for you to get involved! Taught my Jeremiah a veteran in the sport with several wins on his belt, he will teach you what you need to know to get your pilot’s wings!
The event will be held at the 460 AMA field on July 27th. You will need to have a wing built and flying by then. Check out our Facebook event page for details on the parts you need and reach out to us if you’d like help building your spec wing. Don’t be afraid to ask questions!
